Because demand is high and the season for swimming is limited, it’s important to remember that tuition covers a guaranteed time slot for your swimmer. While special circumstances may occasionally arise, we ask that all swimmers be present 10 minutes prior to their in-pool time and that regular attendance be maintained.

When are lessons offered?
Lessons are taught March through October, with morning and afternoon/evening times available. Most lessons are taught 10-minutes per day, four days a week. A student typically requires four to six weeks of lessons to master the skills.
May I attend another student’s lesson prior to registering my child?
Absolutely. Prospective families are welcome to watch a lesson while they research the program and can be provided references. Please contact us to coordinate.
Are make-up lessons offered for vacation or illness?
If you find that your child is ill for an extended period of time, or you are planning a vacation, parents may choose to reserve their time slot with a weekly lesson fee or to forfeit their dedicated time slot and enter a “first priority waiting list.” When your student is ready to come back to lessons, coordinate with us to arrange the next available time slot.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
If you cannot attend a lesson at your regularly scheduled time, please provide as much notice as possible. We will make every effort to offer another time slot for the same day, if possible. In the event that a lesson is canceled by the instructor due to weather or due to instructor illness, you will not be charged. No credit is given for missed lessons unless cancelled by the instructor for weather or instructor illness.
If your child becomes ill or you have a family emergency, please notify us ASAP.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
As the pool is an outdoor pool, lessons will be canceled if inclement weather is in the area. Rain is not a cause for cancellation, lightning is! The instructor has the right to cancel lessons due to weather and will do so in as prompt a manner as the circumstance allows. Please remember there are times that a storm pops up quickly and there is little to no time to communicate a cancelled lesson — these decisions are made for the safety of all.
What if I am late for lessons?
We do ask that you be present 10 minutes prior to lesson time, which allows us to begin the next student so that we can remain on schedule for everyone. Please let us know ASAP if you are running late. Habitual tardiness will result in forfeiture of your time slot.
